Kevin Kay received Bachelors of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1987. He is licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the State of Maryland. He maintains a certification with National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), as well as membership with the American Institute of Architects (A.I.A.), International Code Council (I.C.C.), American Woodworkers Institute (A.W.I), and is an LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Prior to establishing Kay Architects, Kevin worked with several notable architectural firms in the Washington area since 1987. Project type experience includes the following project types:
